How to choose when buying ornamental fish
There are so many kinds of fish in the aquarium shop that you are dazzled. You want to move all the fish into your own fish tank. Of course, this is not realistic. We usually raise a few tails to decorate our space. So, when you buy fish in an ornamental fish shop, how can you choose high-quality ornamental fish?
1. Pick the first fish: look at the color of the water
It is very important that the color of the water in the tank is clear and transparent. If the water color of the fish tank is blue, there may be methyl blue and other drugs under it. Yellow water color, there may be yellow powder, oxytetracycline, furazolidone, potassium permanganate residue, etc. The color of the water is red. It may be that potassium permanganate has just been laid.
2. Pick fish the second: look at the state of the whole tank
When we buy ornamental fish, the whole state of fish is a very important issue. New fish friends must not easily think that there are one or two diseased fish in a jar of ornamental fish. The cross infection of ornamental fish can easily kill the fish.
OK, what is the state of the whole cylinder? First of all, there should not be a dead fish in the fish tank, such as the fish in the tank, the fish in the tank, and the fish with shrinking fins. None of the fish had white spots, red streaks, white stools, or congested skin. For large ornamental fish, occasionally there is fighting phenomenon, the fin is not a big problem. But there must be no swelling, inflammation, ulceration and other problems.
3. Pick fish the third: tap the fish tank
Tap the fish tank with your hand, and each fish will stretch its fins and swim normally in each water layer in the tank. When our body is close to the fish tank, the fish have obvious requirements for food. They are not afraid of people, do not panic the tank, do not flee, and can quickly grab food. They are gorgeous in color, no floating head and no rubbing tank. In particular, we should carefully observe whether there are white spots and black spots on the fish body, except for the white star chasing star on the pectoral fin of goldfish and male fish.
Of course, when tapping, you should pay attention to the force, not too large, otherwise the shop owner will not agree with you to do so. Best of all, get the boss's approval first!
4. Pick fish the fourth: look at the fin
Pay attention to observe whether the fins of the fish are missing, especially goldfish, which are double gluteal fins and double abdominal fins. The absence of one fin is inferior. In addition, we must pay attention to whether there is iris in the eyes of fish. If not, we should observe the eyes of both sides carefully.
